We are excited that 2015 and 2016 will mean a new direction for Ontario Immigrant Network. In the past, we have achieved great success in connecting immigrant entrepreneurs to opportunities. Our team is proud of what we have achieved with limited resources, but we agreed that we needed to find a way to help serve more people while still running a lean organization. This is how the FLY app was born.
FLY is a financial literacy and entrepreneurship app targeted towards our youth. The youth of today face serious barriers, challenge, and uncertainty in regards to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities. Our vision is that the FLY App allows youth to have the resources they need to track financial goals, access educational tools, and connect to other resources.
FLY will be available in the first quarter of 2016, thanks to the generous support of Libro Credit Union via The Prosperity Fund. It will be available on the web, iPhone/iPad, and Android.
