The FLY app

FLY was a financial literacy and entrepreneurship app for our youth. It launched in 2016 and is now archived.

A new direction

How the FLY app was born

2015 and 2016 meant a new direction for Ontario Immigrant Network. In the past, we had achieved great success in connecting immigrant entrepreneurs to opportunities. Our team was proud of what we had achieved with limited resources, but we agreed that we needed to find a way to help serve more people while still running a lean organization. This is how the FLY app was born.

The youth of today face serious barriers, challenges, and uncertainty in regards to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities. Our vision was an app that gave youth the resources they need to track financial goals, access educational tools, and connect to other resources.

What FLY did

Set a goal and follow your progress towards it.

  • Educational tools

Financial literacy and entrepreneurship, made accessible, engaging and fun.

  • Connect to resources

A way in to the other programs and services that can help.
